For train spotters, Williamson is one of southern West Virginia's best places! With the rail yard encompassing over 46 Miles of track, plenty of daily movements can be seen throughout East Williamson, Downtown, and West Williamson. 

Williamson City Hall is actually the old Amtrak Station that used to serve our city. 

From time to time, historic steam engines will roll back through the area and nothing beats hearing those bells ring and whistles blow!
